Metro Ascent Capital Limited (BJI367) is authorised and licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong to conduct Type 1 (dealing in securities), Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities.

Cecilia oversees the entire operation of the Metro Ascent advisory platform. Prior to the establishment of Metro Ascent Capital, Cecilia was the Managing Director and in charge of the International Mergers & Acquisitions business for Somerley International Limited for over 10 years.
Cecilia has also worked in senior positions at the investment banking division of Macquarie Bank and HSBC. At Macquarie Bank, she was part of the corporate finance team providing advisory services to clients in the infrastructure sector with a focus in China. At HSBC, she worked for the project finance advisory team, providing financing solutions and advisory services to clients in the infrastructure and utilities sector in Asia.
Earlier in her career, Cecilia worked for Kvaerner where she specialized in infrastructure projects in Asia and Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) projects in the UK.
Cecilia has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sheffield and a Master’s degree in Finance (with Distinction) from the University of Lancaster. She holds CFA and CPA professional qualifications and is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Cecilia is a Responsible Officer licensed for Types 1, 4 and 6 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance of Hong Kong.

Anthony SL Li
Executive Director
Anthony has extensive experience in providing investment banking and corporate advisory services and is specialised in cross-border M&A and leveraged finance transactions in the Asia Pacific region.
Anthony has advised and successfully completed numerous transactions involving MNCs, major listed conglomerates and International PE Funds in various sectors including consumer and retail, property development, e-commerce, technology, power & energy, infrastructure, logistics and industrials. Anthony also has a successful track record in advising on public takeover transactions involving Listing Rules and Takeover Codes in Hong Kong.
Prior to Metro Ascent Capital, Anthony was a Director at Somerley and an Associate Director at Standard Chartered Bank advising on cross-border M&A and acquisition financing transactions in Hong Kong and London. Anthony was also a Manager in the Corporate Advisory Services department at Deloitte.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney and an MBA (with Distinction) from Imperial College London. He was awarded the David Begg Prize for Outstanding Performance in Economics and a scholarship from Imperial College London. Anthony is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and a Responsible Officer licensed for Types 1, 4 and 6 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance of Hong Kong.
